Growing up in a family of avid hunters, Clete has been hunting and fishing all of his life. Having many of his own trophies mounted ignited his interest in starting his own business.
Clete is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Institute of Taxidermy in Ebensburg, PA. and has also worked at P.I.T. as an instructor. He holds a Pennsylvania Taxidermy License, a Migratory Bird License, and is a member of the P.T.A.
Clete has competed at various professional division state taxidermy competitions in both Ohio and Pennsylvania.
His major awards include the Polytranspar award(2004) and Best of Category Professional divison(2008), which earned him his Master's certificate. He has also won various ribbons at every show he has attended.
Clete's expertise extends well beyond American wildlife
to include animals from Canada, Mexico, Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Russia, and Argentina.
